Legacy Recording is more than a studio, it’s a vision years in the making. Built from the ground up in Camillus, New York, our facility was carefully designed with dedicated isolation spaces and state-of-the-art digital technology to ensure professional sound quality. What started as a personal dream, inspired by a lifelong love of music and the memory of a mother who lived and breathed it, has grown into a place where artists, podcasters, and creators of all kinds can bring their projects to life. While our doors are newly opened, our passion and experience are not. We began building this studio two years ago with a clear purpose: to provide a professional yet welcoming environment where creativity thrives. Today, Legacy Recording serves both seasoned professionals and aspiring artists, offering in-house engineering, mixing, mastering, and music production. Our story is rooted in love for music, driven by integrity, and powered by a desire to help every client create work that lasts for generations.

Our Vision

The vision for Legacy Recording was born from both love and loss. Nearly five years ago, after the passing of my mother, a passionate pianist and lifelong music lover, I felt called to create more than just a recording studio. Using part of my inheritance, I set out to build a space where others could capture their own musical legacy and preserve the power of sound for generations. Music has always been at the heart of my life. Encouraged by my mother, I explored a variety of instruments, learning early that music is more than notes, it is comfort, inspiration, and an eternal companion. I’ll never forget her words: “Music is something you will have for your entire lifetime. No matter what you do you can always reach for it, and it will comfort you.” At Legacy Recording, that philosophy shapes everything we do. Our goal is to capture your vision with honesty, passion, and professionalism, creating a lasting impact that continues to inspire long after the final track is complete.

As a singer I spent most of my time in the vocal booth. I love that I can put my tablet on the door mount so there is no need for a music stand, leaving more room to move around and even play a guitar if needed. The waiting room is perfect if you have children you need to bring with you like I do, or if you have friends or family that want to come along. It is a separate space that allows you to hear and see what is happening in-studio but can also be a silent work space with access to the internet. John is patient and easy to work with. He will walk you through the process of your project step by step from concept to completion. I am excited to collaborate on future projects with Legacy.
